In addition to these areas, I also work in general civil law (contract law) as well as certain areas of social law (Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act, child benefit, parental allowance) and public law (law of assembly).
I concentrate on advice and proceedings of fundamental importance.
Involvement
On behalf of Caritas Verband e. V., I am a member of the “German Legal Advisers' Conference of lawyers working with UNHCR and the welfare associations to advise and represent asylum seekers and foreign refugees”.
I have repeatedly been heard as an expert on asylum and immigration law in the German Bundestag, in state parliaments and in various committees and bodies.
Memberships
I am also a board member of the Pro Asyl support association and spokesperson of the Bavarian Refugee Council (Bayerischer Flüchtlingsrat e. V.), a founding member of the Republikanischer Anwältinnen- und Anwälteverein e. V., and a member of the Deutscher Anwaltverein (Immigration and Asylum Law Working Group).
